With extensive facilities, free parking, and within walking distance to many hotels and motels we can cater for nearly any sized event and offer the flexibility of hiring just one room or several.

Our facilities are used by a wide variety of organisations, businesses and community groups. We also have a commercial kitchen and a chef on staff who can provide food and catering, thus making a complete events package.

Totara Lounge

The Totara Lounge is located at the rear of the building, and adjacent to the Kitchen and Gymnasium has a capacity for 60 people.  Toilets are conveniently located nearby.

  • Padded individual seats – arranged to meet your requirements.
  • Trestle tables (seat six to eight) and chairs can be set up for a meal or more formal meeting.
  • A heat pump provides heating and cooling when needed.
  • Natural light and ventilation.
  • A servery hatch through to the kitchen makes catering easy and accessible.

Kowhai Lounge

The Kowhai Lounge is located at the front of the building, near the main foyer and opposite the Church Office.  It also links through into the back of the auditorium.  Toilet facilities are adjacent.

  • This room is carpeted and contains 20 comfy seats.
  • Additional padded seating available upon request.
  • An excellent room for small meetings or gatherings.

Kauri Room

The Kauri Room is located at the western side of the building, and accessed by the corridor adjacent to the church office. Toilet facilities are adjacent.

  • This room has a carpeted floor and seats 50+ people.
  • An excellent room for meetings, seminars and training events
  • Kitchen adjacent for light food preparation.
  • Play rooms and children’s toilet facilities available.

Rimu Room

The Rimu Room is located at the rear of the building, and accessed via the gymnasium.  This area can be set up to suit requirements – theatre style with individual seats, or with trestle tables and chairs (seating about 60 people).

  • Stage area at one end of the room, with data, sound and projector screen.
  • Heating via electric fan and gas heaters.
  • An outdoor area is accessible from this room (but not visible from the room).
  • The room is mainly used for children’s activities, and so is decorated with this in mind.

Rata Room

The Rata Room is located upstairs adjacent to staff offices.

  • This room has a carpeted floor, whiteboard and is an excellent seminar or meeting room for up to 20 people.
  • Kitchen adjacent for light food preparation.
